It took two months for Gao Fei, a teacher and a science and technology instructor for the youth with Lanzhou Foreign Language School to apply laser cutting technology to create a scene of military defence of a city in ancient China by referring to the historical records such as the General Military Principles dating to North Song Dynasty and the Records of Military Preparations by Mao Yuanyi of Ming Dynasty and his own thinking of ancient Chinese culture over the years. With the works, he wished to further exhibit the glorious achievements made by China in the field of ancient science and technology, promote the understanding of excellent ancient Chinese culture and national confidence of Chinese people and make more people fall in love with science.
