On the afternoon of March 24, the School of Basic Medical Sciences of Lanzhou University hosts a seminar. Vice dean Professor Peng Xianfu, teacher Qiao Peng, Chief Nurse Wang Xinglei from Second Hospital of Lanzhou University share their stories in psychological consultation, their opinions and suggestions for current epidemic situation respectively
After the epidemic outbreak, the School of Basic Medical Sciences of Lanzhou University has been providing online medical and psychological classes on MOOC, providing psychology classes for 700 undergraduates of the School and over 600 students from over 200 colleges and universities including Shanxi Medical University and Anhui Medical University, helping them to deal with the epidemic outbreak. Since February 2, they’ve been working on the public welfare psychological assistance project during novel corona-virus outbreak by GSAAP, providing psychological services for frontier workers of epidemic prevention and their families. Meanwhile, they’ve given a 3-hour online lecture for psychological intervention hotline staff with 800 page-views.
