Ecological greening is a priority for the construction of an ecological innovation city. Since the greening project for the surrounding mountains of Yuzhong ecological innovation city was carried out on February 27, the biddings for six forestation sections and three water supply sections have been completed, and the construction has been carried out in an orderly manner.

To speed up the construction process, which was delayed by the epidemic, the construction teams in White Tiger Mountain and Green Dragon Ridge reverse the schedule and work overtime to make sure that water supply will be on schedule. As of now, 1,450,338 holes of land has been leveled out, accounting for 76.73% of the total amount of work, and the supporting water-supply project has reached the construction stage. Land leveling is expected to be completed on April 10 and forestation will begin in mid-April.

　　According to the responsible persons of the greening project, since the project started, the county leadership has attached great importance to it, and has visited the White Tiger Mountain and Green Dragon Ridge many times to inspect the progress of the water supply project and greening project to find out problems and ensure the smooth implementation of the two projects. They required that the construction and management should be standardized to ensure safety, construction enterprises should employ a large number of rural workers in nearby towns and villages to increase the income of farmers in our county who could not go out to work due to the epidemic.

　It is understood that the headquarter of the greening project recently held a meeting to promote the progress of the water supply project in the White Tiger Mountain and Green Dragon Ridge, discuss with the leaders of relevant township and towns, the Water Bureau, Natural Resources Bureau, Yangling Hydropower Design Institute how to make compensation to farmers whose land had been expropriated, and work out the plan for leaders of townships, towns and villages to coordinate the promotion of the project. At the end of March, the headquarter of the greening project held a meeting on project safety which required that all construction sections should immediately carry out safety inspection, conduct in-depth and detailed analysis of the problems existing in forestation and greening, and actively take safety measures to prevent fire and COVID-19 pandemic.
