International Labor Day is coming. To promote the festival atmosphere, Lanzhou’s Two Mountains Command Center set up flower landscape in Jiuzhou Peony Garden to enhance the landscape effect in the park, display the colorful Luojiu landscape, and provide a good place where the public can relax.

Jiuzhou Peony Garden is located northwest of the Wenmiao in Lanzhou and covers an area of 12,543 square meters. The garden is lush with vegetation and has a large variety of nursery-grown plants. In recent years, a variety of flowers, mainly peonies, have been introduced to the garden, and the facilities in the garden have been upgraded and renovated. Sculptures of "Blossoming Flowers," "Peony Pavilion," "Fairy Sending Blessings" and viewing platforms have been built to provide visitors with a place for leisure activities rich in peony culture.

This reporter learned from the Lanzhou Two Mountains Greening Command Center that this year's "International Labor Day" flower landscape kept to the festival theme, focusing on key areas of peony-themed sculptures, bas-relief small square and Premier Zhu Rongji Tree Planting Monument, with field cultivated flowers, flower beds and flower borders as the main landscape and pot culture highlighting the beauty of the flower landscape. Seasonal flowers such as petunias in six colors are planted to enhance the three-dimensional ornamental effect. Trillium, sunflower, purple pine coneflower and iris are planted in the key areas of the garden to enhance the atmosphere of spring so that visitors can appreciate the rich festival atmosphere and enjoy the beauty of the Two Mountains in spring at close range.

In the latter period, the caretakers will continue to strengthen flower conservation and fertilizer management, adjust the amount and frequency of watering according to climate to ensure that the flowers grow well. At the same time, the caretakers will step up inspection efforts to clean the flower beds and green spaces, and replace missing or withering flowers.
