Hongshaxian Ecological Park in Jingtai County, more than 200 kilometers away from downtown Lanzhou, is a good place for fruit picking, relax and entertainment. Hongshaxian Ecological Park is located in the south edge of the Tengger Desert, Hongshaxian Village, Hongshui Town. There used to be desertified landform. After a decade of construction by the local enterprise Hongshaxian Ecoagriculture Co., Ltd., here is today's Hongshaxian Ecological Park. The park has invested 21 million yuan in building a high-efficiency solar greenhouse cherry planting base, where there are 100 high-efficiency solar greenhouses covering an area of 200 mu and 15,000 high-quality desert red cherry seedlings of 5 varieties introduced. Today, the park is tree-lined, with the surface of the lake rippling. There are not only a water park where you can row and fish, but also a pear garden of 1000 mu and a cherry garden of 100 mu. The red cherries growing in the special desert climate are exquisite with thick flesh, delicious taste and charming appearance, thus enjoying the reputation of “the first fruit in spring”. The cherries are good for maintaining beauty and keeping young, and can benefit qi, strengthen spleen and stomach, and supplement calcium and iron.
