The elderly and Children’s House in Muta Lane community, located in the community building, covers an area of about 100 square meters. Based on the actual needs of the elderly and children in the community, it mainly provides four project services, enjoying the elderly, benefiting the children by learning, enjoying the books, and enjoying the youth training for health. To build a neighborhood space for mutual assistance and resource sharing, the social volunteer team of Lanzhou Lekang youth social service center was regularly invited to provide professional services such as reading, culture, art, and health care for the elderly and children in the community. According to Kang min of the volunteer team of social workers, children’s theme activities are held once a week in the community by the elderly and Children's House, with about 30 participants. The books were arranged according to the reading characteristics of children, parents and the elderly.
