On the afternoon of July 3rd, at the signing ceremony of major projects in Yuzhong County, ten projects, including Dr. Peng Lanzhou 5G Big Data Industrial Park with a total contracted amount of 7.359 billion yuan, were contracted. It is understood that a total of 21 projects have been contracted to Yuzhong County at the Lanzhou Investment & Trade Fair, with a total investment of 14.644 billion yuan.

Among the 10 contracted projects in the afternoon of that day, the project of Dr. Peng Lanzhou 5G Big Data Industrial Park received much attention. The project plans to cover an area of 408 mu, and will consist of one cloud center, three bases, one college and one exhibition hall, namely the IDC big data center + industry cloud center, 5G intelligent equipment production base, 5G big data industry chain base, industry-university-research innovation base, a joint laboratory and an exhibition hall for the application of 5G industry chain in northwestern China. The park will incorporate 5G, Internet of Things, edge computing, cloud computing, industrial Internet, industrial big data, AI, Block Chain and other digital industrial clusters.

It is worth mentioning that, as an important part of the strategic pattern of "one center and two wings" for Lanzhou's urban development and an important platform for opening up to and communicating with the outside world, Yuzhong Ecological Innovation City has become the focus of investors. Seven projects have been contracted to Yuzhong County at the Lanzhou Investment & Trade Fair with a total investment of 15.7 billion yuan. It is understood that since its development and construction began, Yuzhong Ecological Innovation City has adhered to the principle of "ecology first, openness and innovation, coordinated regional development, traffic leading, and high-quality development", and has prioritized the construction of infrastructure such as roads, networks, pipe galleries, ecological and greening facilities, and resettlement housing. 15 regional trunk and secondary trunk roads have been built and the first-stage construction of the resettlement site in Zhouqian Village for the Ecological Innovation City has been initiated. The project of mountain green plants and landscape belt has started. The preliminary construction of key projects such as the municipal engineering project in the core demonstration area, Lanzhou College of National Science and Technology University, affiliated school of the Yuzhong Campus of Lanzhou University, and Lanzhou International Medical Center has begun.

The Yuzhong government has been optimizing its investment environment and promoting investment attraction and project construction in accordance with the requirements of "catching up, speeding up and transforming and upgrading". At the Lanzhou Investment & Trade Fair, 21 projects have been contracted to Yuzhong County with a total investment of 14.644 billion yuan. Among them, one is at the provincial level with an investment of 400 million yuan; ten are at the municipal level with an investment of 7.359 billion yuan; and ten are at the county level with an investment of 6.885 billion yuan. The contracted projects cover infrastructure, new industries, trade and logistics, agricultural breeding, scientific and technological innovation, etc.
