Up to now, the construction progress of high standard terrace project has been completed 60%, and it is expected to have been completed by the end of July.
This year, the Department of Agriculture of Gansu Province issued a high-standard farmland construction task to Yuzhong County of 20,000 mu, including: high-standard terrace construction area of 15,000 mu, high-efficient water-saving irrigation construction area of 5,000 mu. According to the project task and the existing basic work situation of each township, Yuzhong County decided to implement 15000 Mu high standard Terrace Project in Guoyuan village, Qianjiaping village, Dongcun village, Haodicha village and Guojiawan village of Gancao Town, and to implement 5000 mu high-efficiency water-saving irrigation project in Sandunying village, Lijiamo village, Guojiazhuang village of Jinya Town and Xujiaxia village of Xiaokangying Town. Up to now, the construction progress of the high-standard terrace project has been completed by 60% and is expected to have been completed by the end of July. The high efficiency water-saving irrigation project has passed the expert review, and the preliminary design text is being revised according to the experts' opinions, and the construction is expected to start at the end of August.
Food depends on land and technology. The construction of high-standard farmland project will improve the land utilization rate and scale planting, which is not only convenient for mechanized operation, but also increase the industrial income and improve the comprehensive production capacity of land, and help to build the agricultural production pattern of standardization of water conservancy facilities, networking of rural roads and standardization of land farming. An official from the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of Yuzhong County said, "The small and scattered plots of land have been transformed into contiguous farmland with high standards.
