The Moon Gorge is about 5 kilometers away from Jialing Town, Huixian County, and more than 10 kilometers deep. It is the terminal of Jialing River rafting. There are many cultural landscapes in the gorge, which has occupied an important geographical position since ancient times. During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang went to Qi Mountain six times and passed by here three times. There are still remains about 4 kilometers of ancient plank road here.

In the midsummer, the canyon is deep, the forest is green, the spring is pure, and the environment is quiet. It is an ideal place for summer vacation, landscape sightseeing, leisure and entertainment.

The Moon Gorge is located in Huixian County in the south of Gansu Province. It is also one of the main scenic spots in Santan Scenic Area. The total length of the Moon Gorge is 65 km. There are clear moon rivers flowing through it and the valley is covered with virgin forests, and the vegetation coverage rate is more than 98.5%.
