Ye Zhou, a famous poet, novelist and screenwriter, is currently a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Poetry Committee of the Chinese Writers Association and the chairman of the Gansu Writers Association. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Northwest Normal University and has published a large number of novels, poems and proses. His works have been selected into various yearbooks, annual anthologies and Chinese novel lists for many times, and have been translated into English, French, Japanese, Korean and Russian. Some of his novels have been adapted into movies and television dramas. He is the author of the poetry collection of "Great Dunhuang" and "Frontier Poetry".
