On the afternoon of November 10, Lanzhou Municipal Urban Management Commission held a "digital urban management" promotional event in the pedestrian street of Jianlan Road, guiding the citizens to report their problems through WeChat "random shooting" or calling 12319, so as to form a good atmosphere for everyone to participate in urban management.

Upholding a theme of "I am a one-day urban management worker", the event was launched with the propaganda film "we are glorious urban management workers". The volunteer representatives who participated in the event read out the urban management proposal. Many enthusiastic citizens wrote down their names on the signature wall and actively participated in the urban management work. The staff actively publicized and promoted the application of the official account of Lanzhou Urban Management Committee and the digital management of Lanzhou Urban Management Committee on the site, asking citizens to scan QR code, who received promotional stuffs after they registered successfully.

It is understood that the Lanzhou Digital Urban Management Command Center has launched a hotline —12319, which can widely collect problems through WeChat "random shooting". 28,000 multi-channel video monitoring screenshots are applied to actively detect problems, handle cases such as transferred from the superior and online messages. Averagely it has handled more than 26,000 cases every month. At present, Lanzhou Digital Urban Management Command Center has connected eight districts and counties, High-tech Zone, the Yellow River Scenic Line Management Committee and other platforms to smooth the network process of 28 municipal departments dealing with cases. In 2019, 219,200 cases were handled with a case closure rate of 100%. The number of urban management problems reflected by WeChat "random shooting" reached 181,000 pieces in total, with a case closure rate of 100%. The cumulative incentive of "random shooting" activity was more than 40,000 yuan.
