On December 8th, the finals of the first Gansu University Students Employment and Entrepreneurship Competition and the first University Students Employment and Entrepreneurship Competition for the Four Northwestern Provinces ended in Lanzhou University. 15 first prizes were awarded to the college group and 9 first prizes were awarded to the higher vocational school group.

　　With the theme of "Developing the West and Creating a Wonderful Future", this competition aims to stimulate the enthusiasm of university students in Gansu province for employment and entrepreneurship, and enhance their related ability. The competition is divided into college group and higher vocational school group, and students can choose to join career planning team, employment team and entrepreneurship team. The competition lasted nearly one month, and 50 colleges and universities in Gansu province participated. After the preliminary competition at the school level, nearly 1,000 works in Gansu province entered the semi-finals, and after the off-line evaluation at the semi-finals, 168 works finally entered the finals. In the two-day final competition from December 7th to 8th, a large number of outstanding entrepreneurial ideas came to the fore. Among them, 15 first prizes, 30 second prizes and 45 third prizes were awarded to the college group; and 9 first prizes, 21 second prizes and 48 third prizes were awarded to the higher vocational schools group. 12 universities, including Lanzhou University, won the Outstanding Organization Award. It is reported that in the second half of this month, according to the results of this competition, Gansu province will recommend some outstanding projects to participate in the first University Students Employment and Entrepreneurship Competition for the Four Northwestern Provinces
