On January 6, female knitters were busy making Chinese knots for the festival market in the Women’s Poverty Alleviation Workshop, Minle Eco-Industrial Park, Gansu Province to greet the New Year.
Over the past few days, the female knitters have been doing needlework very skillfully in the Women’s Poverty Alleviation Workshop, Minle Eco-Industrial Park, Gansu Province…Bundles of threads have been turned into differently shaped auspicious Chinese knots in their hands in the flourishing and bustling workshop.
Reportedly, the handicraft industry has become a new industry where the citizens of Minle County gain additional income to shake off poverty. Handicraft production has extended to 172 villages, forming a mode of production featuring “factory + family workshop”, enabling more than 4,000 people to acquire wealth.
