On January 5, 2021, the “Lesser Cold”, agricultural laborers were busy harvesting mature vegetables in the greenhouses in the Fanian Agricultural Products and Vegetables Base, Modern Gobi Agricultural Industrial Park, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, with the vegetables to be transported to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, etc.

Over the past few days, the agricultural laborers have been busy harvesting and packaging various types of mature vegetables, including leek, celery, summer squash, tomato and onion, in 100 greenhouses and 500 steel-framed greenhouses in the Fanian Agricultural Products and Vegetables Base, Modern Gobi Agricultural Industrial Park, Zhangye City, Gansu Province.

It is reported that Zhangye City spares no effort to build a vegetable industry cluster to promote the development of the “ten-billion-yuan” vegetable industry so as to help the masses increase income and become rich. More than 800,000 mu of vegetables are cultivated annually and sold to domestic markets including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Changsha, as well as international markets such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam.
