On May 20th，an interesting activity of garbage sorting was lunched to popularize garbage sorting knowledge through interesting games at Xigu Street, Lanzhou province.
Interesting activities of garbage sorting began with people’s firm commitment. The community staff in the district lunched the initiative of “no littering, more beautiful city”. The residents’ representatives made the promise of “I will take the lead in garbage sorting and strive to be a good example of the times”. Games such as “angry garbage” were also designed to deepen residents’ comprehension of garbage sorting in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, which were favoured by residents.
In addition to the game area, a garbage sorting publicity area and a garbage sorting knowledge area were set up for street community staff to share garbage sorting knowledge with residents, and distribute garbage sorting publicity leaflets to extend publicity of garbage sorting. Through multi-place, multi-channel and multiform publicity, the residents’ garbage sorting knowledge and awareness of protecting environment are improved, and the promise, “I do practical works for the masses” was fulfilled.
