  China Lanzhou News Network on September 27 On September 26, the highly concerned Lanzhou Wildlife Park opened its doors in the drizzle and welcomed nearly 3000 tourists to visit the park on the first day. At present, visitors can book tickets within three days through the public number of “Lanzhou Wildlife Park”.

  Entry route and time

  Lanzhou Wildlife Park is located at No. 8, Yachuan Village, Zhonghe Town, Gaolan County, Lanzhou City, covering an area of about 5358 mu. How to get to this place? On the afternoon of September 26, the reporter drove up Lianhuo Expressway from the intersection of Tianshui Road and exited at Fujiayao exit. After passing G109 National Road Zhonghe Town, the reporter arrived at Lanzhou Wildlife Park in about 30 minutes. If you use navigation, you should be sure to locate the “Lanzhou Wildlife Park Ticket Office”.

  Near the park, you must scan the QR code to pay the parking fee before you can enter the parking lot. The parking lot is divided into three areas: above ground parking lot, underground parking lot and temporary parking lot, with a total of about 4000 parking spaces. Vehicles with less than 9 seats are 10 yuan/time/day, and vehicles with more than 9 seats are 20 yuan/time/day. The terminals of buses 618, 616, 502 and 520 currently in operation are located in the parking lot.

  Going through the parking lot, you will arrive at the gate of the zoo. Passing the automatic temperature measuring door, then, you can enter the ticket gate. Except for the tourists who make an online reservation, children under 6 years old (inclusive) and no more than 1.2 meters in height, seniors over 70 years old, and some free-of-charge groups holding special certificates will enter the park after verifying the certificate.

  During the peak season (April 1st-October 31st), the admission time of the zoo is 8:30-16:30; During the low season (November 1st to March 31st of the following year), the admission time is 9:00-16:00. At present, visitors can reserve tickets within three days with real names, and the park expects that it may adjust as needed in the future.

  Vehicle area

  Taking a small train for sightseeing, you can stay on the whole journey.

  The zoo tour route is naturally divided into two circular tour routes for walking and driving by the ecological corridor. Driving tour area mainly has nine theme exhibition areas including the kingdom of bear and lion, Australia, African ostrich, western oasis, wind gazelle, kangba valley, wolf tribe, wild world, African white lion. Approximately 27 species of animal, estimating over 530 in number, have been released.

  Entering into the driving area, you must take the park train. The park train arrives every 10-15 minutes, which has four seats in each row and can take 70 people, and people will leave when they are full. When there are many people, the park train will drive after it is full of people. The whole area is 7 kilometers, and the running time is about 1 hour. The train stops in the camel house and sika deer house for 5 minutes. Tourists can feed small animals, but tourists can’t get off the train.

  Starting by train and entering the grasslands of Africa first, visitors can watch lions, bears, kangaroos, camels, ostriches, zebras, giraffes, antelopes and horn horses. In tropical desert areas, visitors can see camels, wild yaks, sheep, sika deer, wolves and other animals. In the wild world, there are wild donkeys, wild horses, white lions and other animals.

  After watching the animals, the small train enters the agricultural sightseeing belt, where visitors can get off and have a rest. There is a love point here, and you can pay 20 yuan per time to buy food (you can feed sika deer). Here, tourists can not only see the colorful flowers and fountains, but also take a hot air balloon (120-180 yuan/person) and play kart (8 minutes 118 yuan/single car, 138 yuan/double car) .

  Walking area: feeding the animals and watching the show are all here

  The walking tour area is the core area of the zoo, including the Asian Kingdom, Australian forests, African tribes, American rain forests, rare animals, cute pet park, two ocean climbing halls, science museums, bird valleys, amusement park (Ferris wheel, bumper cars, self-controlled airplanes, ocean rafting, etc.), dining food street and other areas. Walking area takes sightseeing road as the core and radiates the surrounding venues.

  Entering the walking area, visitors can walk around on their own or take a sightseeing bus for 30 yuan. There are altogether 11 stations for the sightseeing car, and the one-ticket system is implemented, that is, the same fare is purchased from the departure station or halfway, and any station can be used. At present, tourists can see brown bears, kangaroos, alpacas, ostriches, ponies, swans, ring-tailed lemurs, red pandas, raccoons, golden monkeys, macaques, hyenas and other animals in the walking area. Some animals can be fed. The park has arranged entertainment performances, tours, pop-ups and other interactive entertainment projects in some areas, and introduced the “Live Action Role Playing (LARP)” which is popular among young people.

  It takes about 4 hours to walk around the walking area. Leisure seats are available at the Bird Lake Visitors Service Centre and children 's cars are rented here. Animal town is a snack street in the park. More than 20 restaurants such as panda restaurant, Zhengxin chicken steak, Texas and Pule frog have opened.

  The ecological corridor is a characteristic area of the park. Tourists can experience pastoral life, understand agricultural planting, appreciate flowers in the north and south, carry out leisure and entertainment and other projects. Some regions are currently open.

  It is learned that Lanzhou Wildlife Park plans to exhibit more than 210 species of rare wild animals from all over the world, with a number of about 3,000. The park will use a combination of free-range and captive breeding to break the traditional “trap” cage, bringing the people in the city to the natural environment of the zoo without restraint and letting them return to nature.
