Authorities in Lanzhou, capital of Northwest China's Gansu province, recently launched a two-month shopping campaign to stimulate consumption and promote high-quality economic development.

The 2023 consumption season kicked off on Feb 3, ahead of Lantern Festival, and will run until the end of March.

The city offered promotional activities in major consumption areas, covering shopping, dining and transportation.

Thirty-six trading companies, time-honored brands and malls have been invited to actively participate in the event, which will bring consumers a wealth of commodities, high-quality services and more discounts.
