On August 19, the reporter walked into the construction site of the Aimaran New Area Industrial Park project with tower cranes and roaring machinery, and after more than 100 builders fought day and night, the outline of the first electric vehicle gigafactory in Northwest China with a total investment of 2 billion yuan began to appear. After the completion of this industrial landmark covering an area of 824 acres, it will achieve an annual output of 1 million two-wheeled and three-wheeled electric vehicles, with an annual output value of more than 4 billion yuan, filling the gap in high-end electric vehicle manufacturing in Northwest China.
"The company takes a fancy to the advantages of the complete industrial chain of Lanzhou New Area, and it only takes one month from negotiation to signing, and the special class in the new area helps with the construction procedures and relocates the pipeline throughout the whole process, so that we can make every effort to seize the construction period." Yu Jiang, head of the project of the Aimaran Prefecture New Area Industrial Park, said that under the cooperation of the government and enterprises, the construction of the first phase of the project has been fully completed, and the main construction of the four major workshops has been accelerated, two months ahead of the original plan, and the equipment can be installed in August this year. "The wall of this anechoic chamber is mainly composed of ferrite sheets and polyurethane foam tip splitting absorbing materials, which are used to shield the interference of external electromagnetic wave signals from the test signal and create a test environment that meets the test requirements." Hu Lingang, project director of the Achievement Transformation and Industry Department of the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said.
In the past 13 years, Lanzhou New Area has vigorously implemented the action of improving the level of science and technology innovation, anchored the goal of building the core area of the northwest industrial innovation center, actively strived for the implementation of more major scientific and technological infrastructure and key laboratories, accelerated the construction of high-energy innovation platforms such as ion accelerator inspection and testing centers, isotope laboratories, and new energy research institutes, and led high-level innovation with high-level innovation platforms.
