At 14 o'clock on December 17, the Lanzhou Transportation Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team, together with Lanzhou Water Transport Group Co., Ltd., organized volunteers to carry out the winter migratory bird feeding activity of "Protecting Migratory Bird Resources and Protecting Green Water and Green Mountains", and used 100 kilograms of love grain to hold up a "protective umbrella" for the wintering migratory birds in the Lanzhou section of the Yellow River.

　　On the same day, volunteers took a speedboat with grain to the shallow area of the Lanzhou section of the Yellow River. As the grains were evenly scattered on the tidal flats, flocks of migratory birds came to peck at them, and the originally quiet river surface instantly became lively. This feeding not only solves the problem of food shortage for migratory birds in winter, but also practices the concept of ecological protection with practical actions, creates a safe and stable wintering environment for wild birds, and helps maintain the ecological balance of the Yellow River Basin.

　　The improvement of the ecological environment is the key to migratory birds "falling in love" with Lanzhou. In recent years, under the overall deployment of the Lanzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government and the coordinated promotion of various departments, the ecological restoration of the Yellow River wetland has achieved remarkable results, and the natural ecological environment has continued to improve. This winter, due to the early cooling of the season, migratory birds arrived at the Lanzhou Yellow River style line in advance, and the scene of birds playing has also become a smart ecological landscape in winter.

　　"We usually observe that migratory birds like to gather on some river islands and shoals, and when the water level permits, we go ashore to feed these migratory birds some corn, brown rice and other food."
