On January 11, a train carrying imported flaxseed from the Gansu International Logistics Group smoothly arrived at Zhongchuan North Station in Lanzhou New Area. The successful arrival of this train marked a “good start” for the group’s cross-border logistics and foreign trade operations in the new year.

This shipment of 62 containers containing 1,700 tons of high-quality flaxseed from Kazakhstan departed from Aksungar, Kazakhstan on January 1, 2026. It smoothly entered the country through the Horqin Customs Port. The entire transportation process was efficient and smooth. This will further bolster the raw material reserves of grain and oil processing enterprises in our province’s vicinity, which can then be transformed into high-value-added products for supply to the Northwest market.

During the transportation process, Luhao Logistics Company, a subsidiary of Gansu International Logistics Group, took the lead in coordinating the entire logistics process of the train shipment, and collaborated in planning the optimal transportation route. Lan Gang Investment Company, relying on the “integrated trade and logistics” model, proactively connected with resources in the Central Asian market, accurately matched supply and demand requirements, and successfully facilitated the implementation of this flaxseed import trade cooperation project. Through their joint efforts, both parties effectively compressed the overall business cycle, reduced overall logistics costs, demonstrated professional and efficient supply chain service capabilities, and provided a vivid example of Gansu International Logistics Group’s efforts to deepen cross-regional collaboration and explore new forms of logistics-driven productivity.

A representative from the Gansu International Logistics Group stated that they would continue to expand their cross-border trade operations by adopting a replicable and scalable “trade and logistics integration” model, optimize their international logistics network, and further promote the two-way flow of international freight trains.
