As night begins to fall, the New Year goods market on Zhangye Road Pedestrian Street in Chengguan District, Lanzhou City gradually becomes lively.
"Boss, it's safer to retract the corners of the tent by 5 centimeters!" "You can't string wires arbitrarily!" Urban management officers and street law enforcement officers moved between the various booths, reminding people about safety while checking the order.
As the Spring Festival draws nearer, various Spring Festival shopping festivals in Lanzhou have been successively launched. The Lanzhou Urban Management Committee, in conjunction with urban management law enforcement and environmental sanitation departments in all districts and counties, has taken "refined services + three-dimensional guarantees" as the main line to fully maintain the holiday order, allowing citizens to feel the warmth and orderliness of the city amid the bustling atmosphere of purchasing New Year goods.

Citizens are purchasing New Year goods in an orderly manner at the New Year goods festival market.
The Service Center of Zhangye Road Pedestrian Commercial Street under the Urban Management Bureau of Chengguan District has taken precautionary measures for the guarantee work: before the approval of the Spring Festival Shopping Festival, the team members conducted on-site surveys, scientifically planned the booths, avoided fire exits, inspected fire-fighting equipment, and ensured the safety and compliance of each booth. After the event started, additional personnel were deployed at entrances and exits, subway stations, and exhibition areas. Through the dual-line linkage of "fixed-point + mobile" patrols, business operations were standardized in a timely manner. Since January 20, the Comprehensive Law Enforcement Team of Zhangye Road Sub-district has carried out 42 rounds of inspections and persuaded on-site rectification of about 60 issues.
"Could you please move the stall a bit inward to make way for a passage?" At the New Year goods market on the pedestrian street in Xigu District, urban management officers communicated patiently while helping to sort things out. When dealing with issues such as stalls exceeding their boundaries and piles of miscellaneous items, the members of the Pedestrian Street Law Enforcement Squadron of Xigu District Urban Management Bureau first explained the regulations and then assisted in making adjustments, which gained the understanding and cooperation of the merchants.
In Qilihe District, the figures of urban management team members are active in key areas such as Lanzhou Old Street, Lanzhou Center, Wanda Mall, and Zhongtianjian Square, extending their management scope to the main and secondary roads in the surrounding areas. They rectify road occupation for business operations, guide the orderly parking of non-motorized vehicles, assist in traffic management during peak hours, and ensure that the surrounding order is in good shape.

In addition, the sanitation department is also making every effort to do a good job in cleaning to create a clean and tidy shopping environment for citizens.
After the start of the Spring Festival Shopping Festival, the Sanitation Center of Qilihe District, in response to the "tidal" characteristics of passenger flow, dispatches an average of 60 cleaning staff per day, sets up additional mobile posts at transportation connection points, and arranges 6 rapid cleaning vehicles for patrol and cleaning. The sanitation work in Chengguan focuses on the three major markets of Dongfanghong Square, Jinchengguan, and Zhangye Road, covering the surrounding densely populated areas. Since January 19, Lanzhou City has daily deployed more than 260 cleaners and 68 operating vehicles, and the "combination of human and machine" ensures that garbage is cleaned up within 15 minutes after falling to the ground. For areas with peak passenger flow such as Zhangye Road, the intensity of patrol and transportation is increased to ensure that garbage is collected and cleared on the same day it is produced.

In addition, law enforcement officers have transformed into "service soldiers" to provide convenience for citizens. At the pedestrian street under the urban management bureau of Xigu District, law enforcement officers give directions to tourists, help the elderly carry goods, and assist merchants in moving items. With the enthusiasm of "taking one more step and offering a little more help", they convey the warmth of the city. The sanitation center of Chengguan District implements "star-rated" management for 20 public toilets around the market, cleaning and disinfecting them every hour, providing supplies such as hand sanitizer and paper towels, and promoting the "Public Toilet Alliance" to encourage surrounding units to open their internal toilets for the convenience of citizens.
"This year, when I visited the Spring Festival shopping festival, the market was clean and orderly. It was convenient to find restrooms, and problems were solved quickly when encountered. I had a very pleasant time shopping!" said citizen Ding Zhaolan with a smile while shopping. (Xingansu · Gansu Daily reporter Wang Cong)
