To effectively alleviate the traffic problems around the campus, on April 8th, the Chengguan District Brigade of the Traffic Police Detachment of Lanzhou Public Security Bureau, together with Gansu Experimental Primary School, launched an innovative initiative called the "Rainbow Road". By scientifically dividing functional areas, it has realized the separation of pedestrians and vehicles as well as fast and slow traffic, thus building a solid line of defense for campus traffic safety.

　　The Chengguan Brigade conducted multiple on-site investigations and jointly formulated a customized plan with the school. Through refined management, it launched the "Rainbow Road", which divides three major functional areas using green, red and yellow colors. Specifically, the green area serves as a dedicated student escort passage; the red area functions as a fast pedestrian passage; and the yellow area is a special blind track.

　　The "Rainbow Road" is a vivid practice of the Chengguan Traffic Police Brigade in deepening the traffic comprehensive governance of "medical, educational, scenic and commercial areas". It has effectively eased congestion, eliminated hidden dangers, and created a safe and orderly surrounding environment for campuses. Next, the two sides will continue to optimize measures, strengthen publicity and guidance, and call on parents and citizens to jointly safeguard the safe travel routes of students.
