To alleviate the parking shortage around scenic spots and catering business districts in the city and standardize road traffic order, the public security traffic management department has, in light of public feedback, conducted on-site investigations, comprehensive analysis and research, and set up on-street public parking spaces on Zhongshan Road, Matan South Road and Runlan Golden Street based on road traffic conditions and public parking needs. These parking spaces will be subject to toll management to further improve the efficiency of static traffic management on the road sections. At present, the installation of parking signs and signboards on the three road sections has been completed, and toll management will be implemented starting from April 12, 2026 (Sunday).

　　West side of Zhongshan Road (from South Binhe East Road to Linxia Road), 18 parking spaces. Charging standard: 3 yuan per 30 minutes

　　North side of the road on South Matan Road (from Yintan South Road to opposite the north gate of Wenshang Jinhaoting), with 68 parking spaces. Charging standard: 1 yuan per 30 minutes

　　East side of the road from Runlan Jin Street (Runlan Zhicheng to Feitian Road), with 35 parking spaces. Charging standard: 2 yuan per 30 minutes

　　The above road sections strictly implement the charging standards specified in the Measures for the Administration of Motor Vehicle Parking Service Fees in Lanzhou City. Parking time is calculated in 30-minute units; parking is free within the first 30 minutes, and fees are charged based on actual parking time if exceeding 30 minutes. For continuous parking exceeding 6 hours but no more than 12 hours, fees shall be uniformly charged for 6 hours of parking time. Parking exceeding 12 hours shall be recalculated and charged cumulatively. The period from 22:00 (inclusive) to 07:00 the next day is a free parking period. When citizens park their vehicles on the above road sections and encounter problems, they may report them to the relevant authorities.
