　　At present, with the scenery bright and beautiful in spring, the preparation for spring ploughing in our city is progressing in an orderly manner from the south to the north.

　　From the robust seedlings in greenhouses to highland summer vegetables, from the fields and farmlands to the vast fertile soil, from the roar of agricultural machinery to intelligent management, counties and districts of our city are taking multiple measures to seize the farming season and agricultural activities. This lays a solid foundation for the annual grain harvest, agricultural efficiency improvement and farmers' income increase, and also plays the farming melody that hardworking people embrace the early spring.

　　Spring ploughing and preparation for cultivation is the first battle of annual agricultural production, bearing on the overall situation of food security and the overall development of agriculture and rural areas. This year, closely centering on the core goals of "stabilizing acreage, optimizing structure and increasing per unit yield", our city has focused on the primary task of ensuring food security and the supply of major agricultural products, made targeted efforts around the four key links of "good farmland, good seeds, good agricultural machinery and good farming methods", and gone all out to win the first battle of spring ploughing production.

　　After fully launching the spring ploughing preparation and production work, our city has decomposed and issued the 1.1859 million mu grain sowing task to major grain-producing counties and districts such as Yongdeng, Yuzhong and Gaolan. Departments including agriculture and rural affairs have issued the Leading Varieties of Grain and Oil in Lanzhou for 2026, guiding the implementation of work in planting plan formulation, agricultural material reserve and supply guarantee, agricultural machinery capacity improvement, precise technical guidance, and quality and safety supervision. It has promoted the matching of improved varieties with good cultivation methods, with a focus on developing characteristic and advantageous industries such as plateau summer vegetables, lilies, roses and traditional Chinese medicinal materials.

　　Meanwhile, the "Field Classroom" tour guidance program has been fully launched. Agricultural scientific and technological personnel have been organized to go deep into frontline agricultural production to provide training on agricultural technologies such as full-film double-ridge furrow sowing, green prevention and control, soil testing and formulated fertilization, as well as cold and frost resistance. This has brought new agricultural varieties and technologies to villages, households and farmlands, providing strong technical support for spring ploughing production.

　　Hard work and a strong sense of responsibility have become a distinctive hallmark of this year. From farmers seizing the crucial farming season, to agricultural technicians providing guidance on scientific management in the fields and accurately solving production challenges, and further to the supply and marketing system making advance arrangements and precise scheduling to smooth the "last mile" of agricultural materials distribution, every act of diligence is building momentum for a bumper harvest.

　　A year's plan starts with spring, and a year's finest scenery lies in spring ploughing. Field work in spring not only carries people's hopes for the whole year, but also embodies their beautiful vision for rural revitalization.
