This event closely follows the integration-oriented development of agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, fitness and exhibition industries. It integrates diverse business forms including Gansu specialty agricultural products, cultural and creative tourism, sports and fitness, home appliances and furniture, daily consumer goods, as well as property and housekeeping services. The products and services displayed and promoted are divided into six major categories: Gansu specialty agricultural products, cultural tourism, sports and fitness, home appliances, daily consumer goods, and property & housekeeping services. It mainly showcases and sells high-quality grain, oil, non-staple food and characteristic agricultural products to boost the integration of agriculture and exhibitions. It introduces local cultural tourism and creative products, intangible cultural heritage handcrafts and folk custom featured products, and carries out cultural tourism promotion activities combining local cultural and tourism resources such as Jincheng Park to facilitate the integration of culture-tourism and exhibitions. It invites sports and fitness institutions and enterprises to settle in, providing experiential services and popularizing fitness knowledge so as to advance the integration of fitness and exhibitions. Merchants dealing in daily consumer goods, home appliances and smart home products are brought in to offer exclusive preferential discounts, catering to residents' demands for home upgrading and promoting the integration of commerce and exhibitions. Institutions offering housekeeping services, home appliance maintenance, physical examination and other services are invited to provide free consultation and discounted services, thus realizing the integration of home-based services and exhibitions.
In order to implement the spirit and requirements of a series of national, provincial, and municipal policies aimed at boosting consumption, Xigu District has adopted a “government-led, enterprise-focused, market-driven” approach. Focusing on three aspects: formulating policies, organizing events, and enhancing scenarios, it has tailored and implemented consumption-promotion policies based on the current state of the district’s industrial economic development, population distribution, and consumer levels. By coordinating efforts from three dimensions: policy provision, event promotion, and scenario renewal, and by adhering to the dual-driven model of bulk consumption and service consumption, the district has managed to stabilize the basic consumption of automobiles, household appliances, and digital products while also tapping into the potential of service consumption in areas such as catering, tourism, and property management. To date, the district has guided major and medium-sized commercial enterprises in the region to hold 12 exhibitions and promotional events. In doing so, it has effectively implemented policies such as the exchange of old automobiles and household appliances for new ones and the issuance of prizes for tax receipts, thereby contributing to consumption promotion and domestic demand expansion.
