Lanzhou China Network, June 16 Report: On the afternoon of June 16, the themed activity "Dragon Boat Festival · Fine Family Traditions of Jincheng", co-sponsored by the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision of Lanzhou Municipal Party Committee, the Publicity Department of Lanzhou Municipal Party Committee, the Lanzhou Municipal Women's Federation, the Working Committee of Government Departments Directly under the Municipal Party Committee and other institutions, was held at Lanzhou Grand Theatre. Representatives of Party members and cadres from municipal government departments and their family members attended the event.

　　This event began with the theme of Qu Yuan’s “Chu Ci: Bowing to Fortune” quote, “To remain honest, upright, and morally pure in order to maintain personal integrity.” It featured six major sections: “Red · Initial Purpose, Faith · Continuity, Blue and White · Watchfulness, Seriousness · Heritage, Waiting · Supporting, Ordinary · Greatness.” Through storytelling, on-site interviews, scenario performances, and artistic exhibitions, the event vividly recounted touching stories of the red family values of integrity, dedication, and selflessness, with the aim of promoting the construction of a clean Lanzhou and nurturing a clear and upright political and administrative climate through excellent family values. At the event, speakers passionately recounted the red family values of former revolutionaries like Xie Juezai and Wang Dingguo, who lived with integrity and loyalty. Through a cross-temporal dialogue, they highlighted the old Red Army’s commitment to frugality and public service, as well as the dedication and selflessness of military wives and grassroots police officers. Real-life examples were used to illustrate the values of dedication and integrity in family life. Each story was followed by a segment on family values, which focused on national and family sentiments, dedication, integrity, and kindness. The event was also interspersed with wonderful artistic performances such as “The First Emotion in the World” and “China in the Light of Lanterns,” creating a strong atmosphere of national unity and the transmission of family values. The organizers released an “Initiative for Family Support of Integrity” online, calling on all city cadres to uphold excellent family values and jointly build a family integrity defense line.
