On June 25, with the sound of a whistle, Gansu's first direct China-Europe freight train for rubber and plastic products to Europe slowly departed from the Lanzhou Railway Bureau Dongchuan Railway Logistics Park and headed to Warsaw, Poland, opening a new and stable land transportation channel for high-end new material products exported to Europe.

　　The 55 high-end new rubber and plastic materials transported in 40-foot standard containers transported on this China-Europe railway train are all high-end rubber and plastic products produced by Lanzhou Petrochemical, featuring excellent quality and stable performance, meeting international standards.

　　Reporters learned that to fully promote the smooth operation of this train, the Lanzhou Railway Bureau proactively coordinated with various relevant units, coordinated various transportation resources, repeatedly reviewed transportation plans, and carried out extensive preliminary work. At the same time, considering the characteristics of high-end new rubber and plastic materials being moisture-resistant, not compressive, and meeting high transportation standards, the Lanzhou Railway Bureau has formulated a special transportation plan tailored to the characteristics of the cargo, established a comprehensive loading, unloading, and stacking operation system, and closely coordinated with overseas railway companies to bridge the connection between domestic and overseas container circulation, achieving efficient container circulation and turnover. According to reports, the land transport time for this China-Europe Rubber and Plastics Railway Express will be stably controlled at around 18 days, improving the timeliness of over 50% compared to traditional sea freight.
