On July 1, the Shenjialing Red Education Base in Weiling Township, Qilihe District of Lanzhou City saw a flood of visitors. Following the red footprints left by the Lanzhou Campaign, visitors carried out themed Party Days and paid their respects at revolutionary sites, pushing the popularity of red tourism in Shenjialing to new heights.

　　"Today marks July 1st, the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. We organized veteran Party members and young Party members to come here for study. While listening to the guide's explanation, we learned about the brutal Shenjialing Campaign. The revolutionary predecessors created our happy life today with their blood and lives. Here, we all reviewed the Party admission oath, enabling every Communist Party member to become more qualified and outstanding," said Zhang Zhiqiang, Secretary of the Party Branch of Moujiaping Village, Pengjiaping Town.

　　Shenjialing is located in Weiling Township, Qilihe District, Lanzhou City, and is known as "the Key to Lanzhou". On August 26, 1949, the Chinese People's Liberation Army launched the famous Battle of Shenjialing in Lanzhou. After bloody and arduous fighting, the moment the red flag was raised over Shenjialing marked the liberation of Lanzhou. In recent years, rooted in its rich red revolutionary heritage, Shenjialing Village has built the red cultural brand "Red Qilihe, Majestic Shenjialing" and developed the tourism route product "Red Shenjialing Rural Vacation Tour", injecting strong momentum into red cultural tourism.

　　"Since April, we have received a total of more than 20,000 tourists, with a large number of individual visitors. We are mainly building the red cultural brand of 'Red Qili River, Majestic Shenjialing'. Relying on red tourism, we drive the development of local industries. This year marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period. To accelerate rural revitalization, we will boost the sales of agricultural products and create local jobs for villagers through red tourism, thus increasing farmers' income," said Gao Junxia, Secretary of the Party Branch and Director of the Village Committee of Shenjialing Village in Weiling Township. "Moving forward, we plan to give priority to recruiting young villagers into the team for developing red tourism in Shenjialing.
