Lanzhou China Network, July 2 News: Recently, the Lanzhou Urban Management Committee has carried out all-round and three-dimensional renovation and improvement campaigns for urban appearance and environment focusing on key areas including urban order, environmental sanitation cleaning, facade renovation and comprehensive management, so as to create a clean, tidy and orderly urban environment for the Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair.

Our city's urban management system has deployed precise control around key venues, reception hotels, main and secondary roads of the Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, conducting regular inspections in key areas to rectify prominent issues such as road occupation operations and disorderly parking of shared bicycles. Focusing on critical zones including exhibition venues, science and innovation parks and transportation hubs, we have optimized operation procedures, refined operation standards, and adopted a human-machine integrated precise cleaning model. We coordinate and allocate cleaning workforce, deploying garbage collection vehicles, small high-pressure washing vehicles, water sprinklers and spray trucks. Full-time sanitation workers are stationed at core locations, while 1 to 2 roving cleaners are arranged every 500 meters along major roads to achieve round-the-clock sanitation coverage in all key areas.

To further improve the visual environment of urban blocks, the urban management department of our city has carried out a special renovation campaign on urban facade environments in full swing. It has continuously increased patrol frequency, urged property owners of public facilities to promptly repair dirty and damaged municipal installations, and conducted centralized clearance of street-side small advertisements and random postings and graffiti. Focusing on key areas, the department regularly standardizes the installation of outdoor advertisements, carries out centralized cleaning and rectification of dirty, damaged, outdated billboards and signboards with potential safety hazards, and actively guides street merchants and responsible entities to independently clean the facades of their stores and shop signboards, so as to comprehensively purify the facade environment of urban blocks. A total of 190 problematic outdoor advertisements have been rectified and cleared, bringing a brand-new look to urban facades.

To strengthen overall coordination and supervision and fully implement the full-area support responsibilities, the Municipal Urban Management Commission has set up six special inspection teams. Adopting on-site stationing and zone-based responsibility systems, the teams conduct regular supervision and inspections on urban appearance and environmental improvement work. Identified problems are assigned immediately with rectification deadlines and closed-loop implementation mechanisms. Meanwhile, relying on the urban operation management service platform, various urban management issues are handled efficiently. Since June 20, the Digital Center of the Municipal Urban Management Commission has received and forwarded more than 5,000 various urban management problems in total, empowering refined urban environmental governance through digitalization.
